ContextLogic’s Founders: “Move quickly, iterate quickly… and focus!”

Ah! I forgot about ContextLogic (March 23, 2011), known as “Wish”, the shopping site (April 2018). ContextLogic was turned into “Wish”. What a difference a half of decade can make!

“Wish” has gone way above and beyond in term of funds and revenues, and looks do 1 trillion (that “Trillion” …but not Billions, not Millions, but “Trillion”) sales in 3 years, based on the CEO said. Who knows, but I’m going to rooting for you!

Here is the old (really old) interview with him (Darren is not with the company anymore). Its just interesting to see the progress with ContentLogic to Wish, the shopper site (and Seoul Space’s progress!).

Peter Szulczewski (LinkedIn), CEO of Wish.

He is a friend and CEO of Wish.

Yaaaah!

(Way back in Mar 25, 2011)

SeoulSpace

We were fortunate to do a quick interview with Peter Szulczewski, CEO and Co-Founder and Darren Lewis, VP of Engineering, Asia (He is no longer with the organization) of ContextLogic when they visited Seoul Space in March. (Sorry for the delay getting the video up!)

Both Peter and Darren are former all-stars engineers at Google and have now formed an equally all-star-backed venture called ContextLogic. They stopped by to say hello and plug into the local IT and startup community, and were happy to discuss their new startup venture and their thoughts on Seoul Space.

We will be doing a more in-depth interview with the ContextLogic crew to shed more light on its technology, and how it will dramatically improve search.  From the demo we were privy to, I must say, it is quite impressive. Stay tuned!
