Richard D. Dasher – technology in Asia action
Richard Dasher, coworker of mine during day of Kstartup years back, make a fabulous the point about the startup and Asia (Japanese innovation, in the particular), Angel capital/VC and US/world, but it hold in so many markets all the world.
For example, the smaller the exit, in terms of the Japanese exits, and US exits will be much larger exit. China with there government sponsorships and VC/private money (where does end and the other begin?), and there is Korea as well, which take “tweener” (some government money and some VC/private money), etc… etc…. etc.
Innovations and Partnerships is happening in Japan, a little late for sure compared to Korea (in term of innovation). Asia will happen… well, it is happening.
Who the win US and Asia (Japan and China) competition in innovation? What about Korea, which Bloomberg rated most innovation country in the world?
A very interesting talk.
